Common warning signs
Unexplained weight loss
Losing more than 5 kg without dieting or exercise.
Persistent lump or swelling
Any lump in breast, neck, armpit, or groin lasting 2+ weeks.
Unusual bleeding
Blood in urine, stool, sputum, or abnormal vaginal bleeding.
Prolonged cough or hoarseness
A cough or voice change lasting more than 3 weeks.
Difficulty swallowing
Pain or trouble swallowing solid or liquid food.
Mouth ulcers
Sores or white patches inside the mouth lasting 3+ weeks.
